The fifth annual, Bull Country Community Cares Radio thon, sponsored by Sam Dial Jewelers will take place Thursday and Friday, October 13th and 14th at Inland Northwest Broadcasting in Moscow.
The event is a fundraiser for the United Way of Moscow/Latah County. In four years prior, more than $45,000 has been raised. The event takes place over 30 hours at Inland Northwest Broadcasting, the home of the Bull Country 99.5 (KZZL-FM) in Moscow. Volunteers from the local nonprofit organizations that benefit from the funding take part in taking phone call pledges during the event.
‘I’m looking forward to all of the excitement and awareness that this event brings’, Cretia Bunney, Executive Director of the United Way of Moscow/Latah County remarked.
The goal of the Community Cares Radio thon is to raise awareness about the United Way foundation and the nonprofit organizations that they serve. In addition, the benefits and impacts that those nonprofit organizations have on our local communities is highlighted.
