Traditional, authentic, original, and on tour in the U.S! Taiwan?s A Moving Sound, aka Sheng Dong, brings the rich culture of its homeland to the stage in a concert of music and dance. Known for their remarkable fusion of traditional Chinese music with contemporary influences, the ensemble creates a powerful experience transporting audience members to East Asia for the evening. Admission is FREE on a first-come, first-admitted basis. Seating is limited in Jones Theatre, and early arrival is recommended. A Moving Sound is presented by WSU Performing Arts as part of the second annual Humanitas Festival celebrating world arts.
