Youth ages 0–18 are invited to participate in the Latah County Library District’s Summer Reading Program. This year’s theme is A Universe of Stories. Registration is in full swing at each of the seven branches of the Latah County Library, and participants will have until August 8 to complete three Reading Missions.
All seven branches of the library will host awesome weekly events. Youth and their grownups are invited to these events, whether or not they have registered for Summer Reading.
Juliaetta Community Library will their Summer Reading event, Tie Dye at Kendrick City Park on Thursday, July 18 at 10:30 a.m. Materials will be provided to make a tie dye project, but participants may bring their own shirt to dye as well.

In addition to in-house Summer Reading events, Miss Stacie and Miss Bailey of Moscow Public Library can be found out in the community at Library in the Park at Lena Whitmore Park on Friday, July 26 at 11:30 a.m. during Moscow School District’s Free Summer Lunch Program for a storytime and/or a STEAM activity.
Participation is free and open to all youth and their grownups.
