Event Description:
Community members are invited to Moscow Public Library for a Book Reading with author Janet Richards. Janet will speak about her new book, Only a Shadow, examining the mystery of coincidence and the value of mundane moments through her relationship with a young boy, Monty Martin McDonald.
Janet Richards began writing as a town crier for the Moscow Pullman Daily News after a career in nursing. She is the author of Crossing the River Sorrow, One Nurse’s Story (Westbow 2013), excerpts of which were published in the American Journal of Nursing and an anthology entitled Reflections on Nursing.  Her second book, Only A Shadow (Westbow 2018) received The Indy Human Relations Compassion Book of the Year Award. She currently lives in Moscow, Idaho where she is a volunteer for St. Vincent de Paul and a member of Palouse Women Artists.
