Beginning in November, BookPeople will host book clubs for young readers, middle school aged children, and teen readers from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Tuesdays. There will be book discussions and activities. Parents are welcome to attend with their child, but not required.
Young Readers (kids 6-10 years old): 4:00 – 5:00 p.m., the first Tuesday of the month. Reading new and classic first chapter books for children.
November book: “Chicken Squad” by Doreen Cronin
Middle-Grade Readers (kids 9-14 years old): 4:00 – 5:00 p.m., the second Tuesday of the month. Reading new and classic middle grade novels for children.
November book: “Bronze and Sunflower” by Cao Wenxuan, winner of the 2016 Hans Christian Andersen Award
Teen Readers (teens 13-18 years old): 4:00 – 5:00 p.m., meets the fourth Tuesday of the month from 4pm-5pm. Reading new novels for young adults.
