BookPeople of Moscow welcomes author Julie Riddle of Spokane, Washington for the New Chapters series featuring travel narratives, stories of place, and memoirs. Riddle will be reading from her memoir “The Solace of Stones: Finding a Way through Wilderness.” The book is part of the American Lives Series published by the University of Nebraska Press. Books will be available for sale and signing. Light refreshments will be provided.
Julie Riddle is the craft-essay editor for Brevity and the creative-nonfiction editor for Rock & Sling. She works as senior writer for marketing and development at Whitworth University. Her essay, “Shadow Animals,” from her memoir, appeared in the "The Georgia Review"; the essay received a Special Mention in "The Pushcart Prize: Best of the Small Presses 2015."
