Bullets into Bells: Poets and Citizens Respond to Gun Violence is the first poetry anthology in the United States focused on the effects of widespread gun violence, and pairs contemporary poems with responses by gun violence survivors, family members of victims, law enforcement officers, clergy members, politicians, and a range of other voices. This Bullets into Bells Idaho launch will include readings by Alexandra Teague and Robert Wrigley (both of whom have work in the anthology), as well as readings from the anthology by other local poets, activists, and writers. Local poet Alexandra Teague is also one of the anthology's editors and will share a bit of background about the project.
