Sonny Ramaswamy is the director of the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA), which provides funding for programs that advance agriculture-related sciences. NIFA invests in and supports initiatives that ensure the long-term viability of agriculture.
Ramaswamy will discuss the vision of NIFA and how systems approaches that involve farmers, academia, industry and product consumers can be employed to address significant societal challenges.
