Event Description:
Ron Adams of Ahsahka captures in oil the beauty of the streams, rivers and mountain setting in Idaho’s Clearwater Valley for the July exhibit at Artisans at the Dahmen Barn in Uniontown. The exhibit opens Friday, July 1 and runs through July 31. The opening reception is scheduled for Sunday, July 3 from 1 to 3 pm. Ron began painting at age 8 and has sold thousands of paintings to people from across the US.
Ron has earned a teaching certificate from the state of Florida, and has been an art instructor for many years, preferring to teach his own students. In years past Ron was a commercial artist at the largest newspaper company in Jacksonville, Florida. He has written three books, one titled, "Drawing and Design” and another is a biblical research book showing the entrance of philosophy into Bible doctrines.
Artisans at the Dahmen Barn is a non-profit creativity center in Uniontown in the big white barn behind the famous iron wheel fence on highway 195. The facility is fully handicap accessible and has no daily admission fee. Information: www.artisanbarn.org or 509-229-3414.
