Music by Arvid Lundin and Deep Roots and Calling by Morna Leonard at the 1912 Center, 7:30 p.m.
A "Contra" is a traditional county dance form down in long lines. (The 'Virginia Reel' is a Contra)/ The moves are similar to square dance: swing, do-se-do, etc., but are done up and down long lines. It's not difficult. Every dance is taught. you dance with everyone anyways, so finding partners is easy. Beginners, singles and families are all welcome. And there's always great live music!
