Event Description:
Do you enjoy creating and building things with your own two hands? Interested in science and engineering? Then we have the class for you! In our Creative Vehicle Workshop, you will build not just one, but three different vehicles - an air-powered hovercraft that actually hovers, a car that is powered by more than one energy source, and an egg-drop vehicle that will keep an egg safe when it is dropped from a tall height.
While you are having fun building your three cars, you will learn about a variety of STEM-related concepts such as motion, energy, air pressure, friction, lift, speed, and acceleration.
All materials needed to build all three vehicles will be provided, and students will get to keep all three vehicles they build so they can continue to learn, explore, and have fun at home.
Ages 6 - 11
Registration: Thursday, December 1 - Wednesday, March 1
