Artisans at the Dahmen Barn is celebrating its 10th anniversary on Saturday, October 8 from 6 to 9pm. Join us for an evening of fun, heavy hors d’oeuvres and tastings of locally crafted wine, beer and cider. Bring dollar bills to participate in the fun Dollar Auction. Our board members and resident artists are contributing gift baskets for the Silent Auction, too. Seating is limited, so contact us early for tickets by calling 509-229-3414 or email shopatthebarn@lewiston.com. The cost is $15.
On Sunday, October 9 from noon to 3 pm, an Open House is being held. Come and tour the Barn and its new addition called the Loafing Shed after the old farm building that was in the same location. The dedication of the new addition is scheduled for 1:00.
Artisans at the Dahmen Barn is a non-profit creativity center in Uniontown on highway 195 in the big white barn behind the famous iron wheel fence. The facility is fully handicap accessible and has no daily admission fee. It is open Thursday through Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. Information: www.artisanbarn.org or 509-229-3414.
