Are you looking for a fun, family-friendly summer activity that is free? Come down on Thursday nights in June for the Entertainment in the Park at East City Park in Moscow! The fun concludes Thursday, June 27 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and features fun activities, great performances, and live music. Don’t miss The Reptile Man from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, and then stick around for the Moscow Arts Commission Band performance from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. Meet The Reptile Man and his scaly friends! Zoologist and educator, Scott Petersen, will introduce up to twelve reptiles from all over the world; including an African desert tortoise, American alligator, rattlesnake, and large Burmese python, as he talks about the importance of all animals in nature. Adults and kids will have an opportunity to handle and touch some of the animals as they learn about how reptiles are important to our planet. The Moscow Arts Commission Band will perform some old familiar favorites, some future favorites, and will feature music from composers around the world celebrating diverse styles from different cultures. Pick-up your Entertainment in the Park Schedule at Moscow City Hall and the Moscow Public Library. For more information, call the Latah County Library at: (208) 882-3925.
