Palouse Pathways, an area non-profit organization that provides college and career resources to local families, will be hosting a number of free events for families exploring college options. There are events in Moscow, Pullman and Lewiston and all local families are welcome.
Palouse Pathways will be offering a free Essay Brainstorming workshop, to help students who need to prepare application essays for college admission or scholarships. The session will be taught by Jamie Flathers and Sarah Quallen, who both hold graduate degrees in writing and English from the University of Idaho and have seven years of experience teaching college-level writing. Flathers states that the workshop will provide: “techniques to jumpstart your thinking, strategies for keeping track of your progress, and answers to questions about essay-writing.”
