S U M M E R S E R I E S
The 13th annual Palouse Summer Series of baseball tournaments is almost ready to start. It has established itself as the premier event of its kind in the Northwest. They have over 100 team coming to town, comprised of over 2,000 of the best youth, high school and college baseball players in our corner of the country along with their families, that will descend upon the Palouse in May, June and July to play at Washington State University’s Bailey-Brayton Field, Pullman High School’s Quann Field, Pullman City Fields, Moscow High School and Colfax’s McDonald Park.
These tournaments are a prime opportunity to showcase not only Washington State University, but the Pullman, Colfax, and Moscow communities as well. All participating teams and most fans are staying at local hotels and will be looking for fun entertainment, quality merchandise, and great food to enjoy when they are not on the field playing ball.
Once again, the tournaments have been so well received by participating teams over the years that almost all 9 tournaments were full by last November.
This event is a great opportunity to advertise. They genuinely believe this is a win-win situation for all involved – WSU, local businesses, and area baseball fans. They are approaching you because they think your business is either:
1) one that would greatly benefit from this particular consumer group during a time of year that is typically slow
2) one that believes in the worthiness of an event like this on the Palouse
