The Address, a new film by Ken Burns and presented by PBS and Idaho Public Television, commemorates the 150th anniversary of The Gettysburg Address. The film showcases students with an array of learning challenges using Abraham Lincoln?s famous speech as a tool for success. Each student is tasked with memorizing the 10-sentence masterpiece, and at year?s end, recite it in front of his classmates and teachers. Burns documents the students? efforts while revealing the history, context and importance of one of the greatest speeches in U.S. history.
