Event Description:
By popular request! In this new class, Tim Steury, owner of
Steury Orchards, will present an overview of fruit tree grafting
methods, followed by field demonstrations and the opportunity
for hands-on experience. Some tools will be provided;
however, you are welcome to bring your own (particularly a
sharp saw and very sharp grafting knife)
Tim Steury tends approximately 160 varieties of uncommon
apples and pears, and has recently started grafting rediscovered
apples from early pioneer and commercial orchards
