Name: Harvest Dinner Fundraiser & Silent Auction
Date: November 11, 2018
Time: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM PST
Event Description:
We are fortunate to live in such a bountiful region, replete with gorgeous landscapes, kind-hearted people, and abundant resources. Each year our Harvest Dinner provides an opportunity to honor the bounty of the Palouse. It is also a chance to share a meal with family, friends, and neighbors before the busy holiday season kicks off in earnest.

We hope you will join us on Sunday, November 11th between 11am and 2pm for all-you-care-to-eat soups, salad, rolls and of course, homemade desserts. Local ingredients will be sourced wherever possible, making the meal a true celebration of our region’s productivity.

The mid-day meal will be served at the 1912 Center, perhaps better known as the old Moscow High School, located at 412 E. Third Street. Guests will enjoy music from the mezzanine and can even purchase a cold beer or glass of wine from the no-host bar.

You won’t want to miss this year’s silent auction either. Attendees will have the chance to bid on “Vintage Finds and Local Flavors,” which will include wonderful antiques, repurposed treasures, delectable food items, and gifts produced in our region. There are sure to be opportunities to bid on one-of-a-kind pieces for you or a loved one on your holiday shopping list.

The Harvest Dinner is our largest fundraising event of the year, providing significant support for the historical preservation, research, and most importantly educational activities of the Latah County Historical Society. Ticket prices are $18 for adult members of LCHS, $20 for not-yet-members, $10 for children ages seven to twelve, and children six and under are free.

Bring your family and friends to the Harvest Dinner. We have enclosed four tickets, which you are welcome to purchase in advance by remitting a payment to our office or using our online donation form. Of course, tickets will also be available at the door. If you cannot attend, you might consider buying one or more tickets for a friend or donating them back to LCHS. The Historical Society distributes all donated tickets through our local food banks and Family Promise of the Palouse.

For more information or if you are interested in helping with the dinner or donating to the Silent Auction, please call 208.882.1004 or email us at lchslibrary@latah.id.us. Thank you for helping to make this year’s dinner a success.

We look forward to seeing you on November 11th!
