Event Description:
Every year, dogs from across the community are invited to the Hamilton Lowe Aquatics Center for a day in the water with Howling at Hamilton.
Well behaved dogs of all ages and sizes are invited to the event! This is the only day dogs are invited into the pool. Dog owners are encouraged to let their four-legged friends play in the water, and join in the jumping contest at 5:00 p.m.
The entrance fee is $10 per dog, and the money raised goes to the Humane Society of the Palouse. Tennis balls, toys, and dog treats will be available for purchase on site.
Participants are asked to provide at least one handler per dog, to clean up after their pet and to stay out of the water and leave the swimming to the dogs.
The Humane Society of the Palouse relies on donations from the community. Fundraisers like Howling at Hamilton help support the day-to-day operations of this no-kill shelter.
