Name: Howling at the Hamilton
Date: September 16, 2017
Time: 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM PDT
Event Description:
The 10th annual Howling at Hamilton is just around the corner. Over the past 10 years, this beloved annual fundraiser has raised $28,023.75!
This family event is a great way to spend a Saturday with your dog!  This even features a dog jumping contest at 5:00 with prizes awarded, a fenced in grass area for our communities dogs to romp and play, and the pool to cool down and take a swim.

Gates will be open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday September 16 at the Hamilton-Lowe Aquatics Center, located at 830 N. Mountain View Road in Moscow. In previous years, there were approximately 100 dogs within the first hour!

The cost is $10 per dog, and we do request that be at one person for each dog.

There will also be dog toys for purchase and all proceeds go to the Humane Society of the Palouse for operating expenses. Only dogs are allowed to swim at this event.

Howling at Hamilton is made possible by the City of Moscow and the Parks and Recreation Department. The event is offered the day before the pool is winterized. The City and Parks and Rec Department have been a wonderful partner allowing dogs in the pool. Volunteers clean up the pool area after the event to help ease costs to the Aquatics Center.

All proceeds go to the Humane Society of the Palouse to help with operational costs such as providing a safe haven for lost and stray animals, lifesaving surgeries, preventative care and much more! The HSOP ensures the humane treatment, welfare and safety of companion animals in Moscow and Latah County.
