Event Description:
The third annual Humanitas Festival, a public celebration of world arts, will be held Sept. 21-26, 2015, at Washington State University. Most events are free, and everyone is welcome! Featured musical artists include Grammy winner Ziggy Marley; Ukrainian "ethno-chaos" quartet DakhaBrakha; Native American hip-hop artists Supaman, Nataanii Means, Yaz, and Witko; singer-songwriter Martin Sexton; the Guy Mendilow Ensemble, with songs of the old Sephardi communities; and Kenny Endo, taiko master. Other activities include a live radio play; a luminarium by Architects of Air; International Education Week, with its keynote address by Dr. Asif Chaudhry, former ambassador to Moldova; ISC's annual Party in the Park; and more!
