Hunter Education

Name: Hunter Education
Date: March 9, 2017
Event Description:
Hunting is a part of Idaho history, culture, and who we are. Hunting uses sustainable and renewable resources and is also a great way to continue living a healthy lifestyle. Game meat is proven to be leaner and healthier than the meat you find in a grocery store, and hunting provides opportunities for hiking, bird watching, and enjoying the great outdoors. In this class, sponsored by Moscow Parks and Recreation and the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, instructors use videos, lectures, and hands-on demonstrations to teach hunting skills, outdoor survival, firearm safety, first aid, wildlife ecology, and animal identification.

Children ages 9-10 years must be accompanied by a parent. Parents are welcome to attend with older children; however, anyone wanting to receive a certificate of completion must be a paid registrant of the class.
