Event Description:

James V. Joyce will offer a concert in the late afternoon of Sunday, May 25th at The Unitarian Church in Moscow, 420 East 2nd St, followed by a mix and mingle and pretend you're Irish in the basement, with a no host bar and fooderly things to purchase. Magic begins at 4pm and never ends, but be on the proper side of the door by 7pm.

James, accompanied by his wife Yvette, are crossing the pond with no other destination than our fair city. James will play mandolin and guitar and fill up the place with his baritone voice, not only singing Irish ballads but telling the stories behind them, and reciting Irish poets as only an Irishman can. You will leave with a sense of Irish history and discover there is more to the Emerald Isle than just green beer on St. Paddy's day, leprechauns, and four leaf clovers.

Time Magazine listed the greatest one hundred writers of the last century; four in the top-ten were Irish. Spend an afternoon with the legendary Mr. Joyce and you will begin to understand why.

James, accompanied by his bride Yvette, has been an entertainer for forty years.  He's finally got it right, and it promises to be unforgettable evening.
