Event Description:
Please join us at the Jane Austen Society of North America-E. Washington & N. Idaho Region Spring "Great House" Tea on Sunday, 6 May, from 2-4pm at the McConnell Mansion in Moscow, Idaho. We will have a tour of the McConnell Mansion led by Latah County Historical Society staff. While we enjoy our tea and scrumptious desserts created by Goose House Bakery in the parlors, we will explore the theme of "sympathy" in Jane Austen's novels, focusing especially on the JASNA Book of 2018, "Persuasion." Cost: $20 general admission; $10 student/limited income This event is open to public (with ticket). Tickets may be purchased through 1 May or until spaces fill up, via PayPal on our website or mailed to the address using the form provided there, as well. Tea will be served along with desserts created by Goose House Bakery in Moscow. Gluten-free options are available.
