Palouse Knowledge Corridor and the Be the Entrepreneur Bootcamp team would like to extend an invitation to any and all interested in attending our two public events, Palouse Pitch (June 12th) and Palouse Challenge (June 14th), which occur every year as part of BTE Bootcamp. While we would certainly welcome your involvement in the entire event (there is still time to register as an attendee or sponsor the event), these two events are open to the public and offer a unique opportunity to learn about your local business community.
Palouse Pitch is Tuesday, June 12th from 7-9PM at the Integrated Research and Innovation Center, 875 Perimeter Drive, U of I Campus in Moscow, where you can join us for an evening of interacting with entrepreneurs and their pitches, polishing your own pitch, meeting the “Entrepreneur of The Palouse Award” recipients, and a social time networking with other community members committed to business on the Palouse. Help us honor this year’s Entrepreneur of the Palouse winners are Allegra Printing, Sam’s Apothecary, and Backyard Harvest by registering ahead of time (no fee required), and brush up on your pitch skills at the same time. Light appetizers will be provided, as well.
Palouse Challenge, which occurs on June 14th at 5:30 in the SEL Event Center (1825 Schweitzer Drive, Pullman, WA 99163), is a ‘Shark Tank’-style event, where the “best of the best” entrepreneurs from the BTE Bootcamp Crucible who have best applied what’s been presented, tuned their business plan, sharpened their pitches, and upgraded their presentation skills will be put the test by pitching their business plans to a panel of local investors. After the competition, you too will be able to test out your own abilities during one-on-one table pitch sessions. Admission is free, as well, and dinner will be served, so please register in advance.
We hope to see you there, helping us celebrate the hard work and ingenuity of some of our region’s best and brightest, while also making connections, building relationships, and honing your own skills.
