Event Description:
Come join the City of Moscow and the University of Idaho Extension for the Know Your Farmer, Know Your Food reception and panel discussion.
 
The purpose of this event is to provide education to the current and future consumer of agricultural products by showcasing the social and economic reach farmers have in their communities.
 
Meet farmers from Idaho and Washington and hear their stories about: small farms, community supported agriculture, wholesale distribution, pre-ordering, and institutional farming. Featured farms include:  Tonnemaker Hill Farm, Moscow Urban Farm/Victory Farm, Brush Creek Farm, Omache Farm, and WSU Organic Farm.
 
No host bar and light appetizers will be provided by Camas Prairie Winery, Moscow Brewing Company, and The Kitchen Counter.
 
Door Prizes will be provided by: Deep Roots Farm, Gnosh, Maialina Pizzeria Napoletana, and Sangria Grille. Don’t forget to grab your raffle ticket at the door to be entered into the drawing for prizes.
