UI Office of Multicultural Affairs presents " LATINO X LATINA X LATINX : Honoring out Identities & Building our Future" featuring keynote speaker Jack Qu'emi
Jack, who identifies as Afro-Latinx, will be presenting "Honoring Identities & Building our Future", which will specifically address the many intersectionalities of our own identities and the importance of respecting diversity. A main topic of discussion will be why we should be shifting in using the term "Latinx" instead of "Latino/a" in order to be more iunclusive.
