Event Description:
Join the PDSC and WSU Physics on September 20th at 10:30am for a giant balloon launch into the Stratosphere. Following the launch WSU Physics will explain the science behind the launch and how the balloon is tracked. In the week prior to the launch PDSC visitors will have the opportunity to design small experiments to send up with the balloon. A camera will be attached to the balloon to document the experiments and the journey of the balloon. Experiments will be available for pick up at the PDSC following balloon retrieval.
