LC Valley's Annual Fireworks Show
If you’re in the Lewis-Clark Valley on the evening of July 4th, you can expect to see fireworks.
The 29th annual ‘Community Spirit Fireworks’ show is next Friday, July 4th at Adams Field in Clarkston. The annual event hosts 4,000-5,000 attendees at Adams Field as well as tens of thousands of spectators who will watch from various locations around the Valley.
Festivities at Adams Field kick off at 6 p.m. with music by ‘The Working Poor’ to continue until the fireworks show begins at 10 p.m. Food vendors will also be on hand with food available for purchase which will include: Pizza Time, Hell’s Canyon Smoke Pit and Krazy Good Kettle Corn. Another anticipated attraction at the Community Spirit Fireworks Show is the opportunity to enjoy the show with 3-D glasses provided in part by Alternative Nursing Services of Lewiston and Pizza Time of Lewiston. Glasses may be picked up from those locations through Thursday, July 3rd and will also be available at Adams Field on July 4th.
For those who attend at Adams Field, there is no charge but donations are accepted to help fund the cost of the 30-minute show with a portion of those donated proceeds benefiting the Red Cross of Greater Idaho who will be on-site for collection. Families can also purchase American Flags for a donation.
Nearly 30 years of fireworks shows have taken place and are the efforts of a local, non-profit organization that is co-chaired by Rob Prasil, Owner, IdaVend Broadcasting and John Sullivan, Owner, American Insurance. In addition to the organization of the event, the Community Spirit Fireworks are also made possible by the following sponsors: American Insurance, Pepsi Cola and IdaVend Company of Lewiston, Budweiser Centennial Distributing, P-1-F-C-U, El Sombrero Restaurant, Banner Bank, Mick McClure Honda, Inland Cellular, U.S. Bank, Happy Day Corporation, Roger’s Toyota Scion, Rooster’s Landing, Joe Hall Ford, Jollymore’s, Kendall Chevrolet Subaru, Hahn Rental of Lewiston, Banner Bank, Kendall Chrysler Dodge Jeep, Bashaw Moving Services, Kendall Hyundai and Twin River National Bank.
