Name: LCHS Talbott Family Esto Perpetua Award Reception
Date: July 7, 2016
Time: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM PDT
Event Description:
Please join the Latah County Historical Society in congratulating the Talbott family, Jeanette, Steve, and Chris, for receiving the Esto Perpetua Award from the Idaho State Historical Society. The reception will be held on Thursday, July 7th at 6:00 p.m. at the McConnell Mansion, located at 110 South Adams Street. We will be serving a light dinner as well as a variety of delicious desserts. Water and iced tea will also be available. The Talbott family has been involved with LCHS in many different roles, from that of generous donors, to volunteer work with the collections, to years of service on the Board of Trustees. Jeanette and her late husband John became members in the early days of the organization. Steve served as Museum Curator for a time, and Chris was the Administrative Assistant in the 1980s. All three family members have continued their involvement through the present. The Idaho State Historical Society established the Esto Perpetua Award in 1999 to recognize people and organizations who have been active in the preservation and promotion of Idaho’s history through “professional accomplishments, public service or volunteerism, and philanthropy.”
