Paint a masterpiece in three hours at the Dahmen Barn on Thursday, October 29 from 6 to 9 pm! In this series held on the last Thursday of the month, a floral image from a different famous master artist is the subject each month. This evening participants will paint an image in the style of Cezanne. Your canvas will be ready to go with the underpainting and the drawing - all you have to do is fill in the color as you learn the technique! It's wet, it's goopy, it's fun! And you can sip wine or a non-alcoholic beverage while you're playing with paint! Come dressed to have a good time and make a mess! You may not paint like Van Gogh or Monet but you will have fun trying. Participants can be beginners or at any level of experience. You will take home your own masterpiece. Workshop leader is Laurel Macdonald, a noted artist from Moscow who loves to work with adults in various mediums. Her specialties are painting and linocut block printing. The class fee of $39 includes the prepared canvas, paint and use of tools along with a beverage and snacks. Classes will not be held in November and December due to the holidays.
