Regional Theatre of the Palouse (RTOP) presents Legally Blonde, The Musical, playing Feb. 15 to 25. This award-winning musical marvel is based on the beloved 2001 hit film, starring Reese Witherspoon. The movie captivated young women with its optimistic spirit and story of female empowerment. Legally Blonde, The Musical brings the positive personality and message from the film AND adds a lineup of upbeat dance numbers too!
Elle Woods is the Delta Nu sorority president, and she won?t take no for an answer. When her boyfriend, Warner, ditches her for a future at Harvard Law School, Elle is determined to win him back. Following her heart, Elle earns a spot at the prestigious school and proves that she has more to offer than what meets the eye. Against all odds, she moves to the top of her class and the top of the firm with her charisma, chihuahua and the famous bend and snap!
Legally Blonde, The Musical follows the transformation of Elle as she challenges stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her passions. Elle?s journey encompasses a whirlwind of pink, all while showing that being yourself never goes out of style. Popular songs from the original 2007 Broadway production include ?Omigod You Guys?, ?Chip On My Shoulder?,
?Whipped Into Shape?, ?Bend and Snap? and ?Legally Blonde?. With these energetic and
