Event Description:
Families with children are invited to participate in Libraries Rock!, the Latah
County Library District’s Summer Reading Program! Summer Reading events are coming to a close, with the following events happening across the District during the week of July 23–27.

Moscow Public Library Events:
Wednesday, July 25, 10:30am at Moscow Public Library: "Summer Reading
Bash!” Join us for an outdoor block party on the library grounds to celebrate the end of Summer Reading!

Branch Library Events:
Monday, July 23, 10:30am at Bovill Community Library: “Cecil the Magician!”
Families are invited to be amazed while participating in an interactive magic show at Bovill library’s final Summer Reading event of the year.

Wednesday, July 25, 1:00 p.m. at Genesee City Park: "Humble Rock Painting!"
Genesee Community Library will host a rock painting activity at Genesee City Park for their last Summer Reading event. Rocks will be provided; participants are advised to come dressed for mess!

Thursday, July 26, 10:30am at Troy Community Library: "The Finale!” Troy
library will celebrate their last Summer Reading event of 2018 with refreshments and a prize raffle.

Thursday, July 26, 11:30am at Deary Community Library: “Cecil the Magician!”
This is Deary Library’s finale event for Summer Reading.
Friday, July 27, 10:30am at Juliaetta Community Library: “Cecil the
Magician!” Juliaetta will host Cecil for their last Summer Reading event of the
year, and prizes will be given to each finalist.

Friday, July 27, 11:30am at Potlatch Public Library: "Gyotaku Fish
Printing!" Potlatch Library will explore the Japanese art form of Gyotaku and
participants can create a piece of art to take home. All ages welcome.
Potlatch Public Library will host their Summer Reading finale event, “Summer
Reading BBQ!” on Friday, August 17 at 11:00am at the Potlatch Pool in Lion's Park.

Registration is not required to attend events. Youth ages 0-18 can sign up for the Great Summer Reading Adventure, the online Summer Reading component, at lcld.northwestreads.org, or register in person at their local branch. Participation in these programs is free and open to everyone.
