Event Description:
Families with children are invited to participate in Libraries Rock!, the Latah
County Library District’s Summer Reading Program! Summer Reading is
underway with the following events happening across the District during
the week of June 25–29.
Moscow Public Library Events:
Wednesday, June 27, 10:30 a.m. at Moscow Public Library: "Luke Boyce as
L-Bow the Clown!" L-Bow the Clown will be performing a show set to
family-friendly music. Participants can watch his good, old-fashioned
clowning—including juggling, riding a unicycle, and making balloon
creations.
Thursday, June 28, 6:00 p.m. Entertainment in the Park: "Luke Boyce as L-Bow the Clown!"
Branch Library Events:
Monday, June 25, 10:30 a.m. at Bovill Community Library: “Edible STEM!
Using different tools to create unique effects, participants will create edible
STEM by decorating cupcakes.
Wednesday, June 27, 1:00 p.m. at Genesee City Park: "Luke Boyce as L-Bow the Clown!" Genesee Community Library will host L-Bow the Clown at
Genesee City Park.
Thursday, June 28, 10:30 a.m. at Troy Community Library: "Luke Boyce as L-Bow the Clown!"
Thursday, June 28, 11:30 a.m. at Deary Community Library: “Rockets to the
Rescue!” Imaginations will take flight as Deary’s event explores aerospace
engineering under the direction of the Latah County 4-H program.
Friday, June 29, 10:30 a.m. at Kendrick Park: “Tie Dye!” Juliaetta
Community Library will host a tie dye party in the shade at Kendrick Park.
Participants are asked to come dressed for mess. T-shirts will be provided,
but party-goers may also bring their own white, cotton apparel.
Friday, June 29, 11:30 a.m. at Potlatch Public Library: "Luke Boyce as L-Bow
the Clown!"
There will be no programs at any of the branches of the Latah County
Library District during the week of July 2 – 6 in observance of the July
4th holiday.
Registration is not required to attend events. Youth ages 0-18 can sign up
for the Great Summer Reading Adventure, the online Summer Reading
component, at lcld.northwestreads.org, or register in person at their local
branch.
Participation in these programs is free and open to everyone. For more
