Name: Libraries Rock! Latah County Library District Summer Reading Program
Date: August 10, 2018
Event Description:
Youth ages 0–18 are invited to participate in Libraries Rock!, the Latah County Library District’s Summer Reading Program. Participants who read at least 45 days between June 1 and August 15 will receive a prize book and be entered to win fun prizes.
Online registration has begun at: lcld.northwestreads.org, or you can register in person at your local branch beginning June 1. All participants will be registered online, even if they choose to track on paper.
All seven branches of the library will host awesome weekly programs, with something happening within the District almost every weekday in June and July. Stop by your local branch beginning June 1 to pick up a calendar of events, which doubles as a reading log, and find out more on the library’s and website Facebook Page.
In addition to in-house Summer Reading events, you can find Moscow Public Library out in the community for Entertainment in the Park, 6:00 p.m. Thursday evenings at East City Park during the month of June, and Library in the Park at Lena Whitmore most Thursdays at noon between June 29 - August 9 during Moscow School District’s Free Summer Lunch Program for a storytime and/or a STEAM activity!
Participation is free and open to all youth and their grownups. For more information, please visit the event section of our Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/latahlibrary/.
