Event Description:
The Moscow Food Co-op (121 East 5 th St.) has arranged a tour of Living Soil Microfarm for Co-op owners and guests on Monday, July 15 at 3 p.m. Guests on the tour will have the chance to see a unique farm whose products are available at the Moscow Farmers Market, and learn more about the daily operations of a small-scale urban farm from the owners.
This tour is the third in a series that began in May with a tour of WSU Organic Farm in Pullman, and continued in July with a tour of Swallowtail Flowers in Moscow. The Co-op will be hosting a second tour
of WSU Organic Farm in September in collaboration with Buy Local Moscow’s Eat Local Month.
Guests planning to attend the tour of Living Soil Microfarm should RSVP either at the Co-op customer service desk, or online at moscowfood.coop/farm-tours. After submitting an RSVP, the Co-op Education and Events Coordinator will reach out to guests with directions to the farm, located near downtown Moscow.
