Maridi Bra 2018

Mardi Bra on the Palouse is holding a fundraiser to benefit local women at Banyans .With a growing number of women and families who are experiencing financial hardship and homelessness, the need to support individuals with appropriate feminine hygiene products, toiletries, and new undergarments is also growing. These items are not covered by food stamps and are costly.  Moreover, these items are rarely donated to shelters and food banks.  Mardi Bra is the brainchild of the organization Distributing Dignity based in Camden, NJ: http://www.distributingdignity.org/.  It has been picked up by communities across the United States.  The local Mardi Bra fundraiser is sponsored by For Women, ATVP, Sojourners Alliance, and other community partners. This event is free to the public and will include appetizers, live music, raffles, a silent auction, and a cash bar.
