Event Description:
| The Moscow Farmers Market kicks off the season with a recycling art project, taught by Kelli Cooper, Sustainability Intern at the City of Moscow Water Department. Join us from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Friendship Square where kids will have the opportunity to get creative and make postcards from cardboard and other recycled materials provided by Moscow Recycling. Clothes that can get dirty are advised and parents must be present throughout the duration of the activity. This year, the UI Composers program is putting on a series of “Open Score” events, where everyone reads off the same page. This is open to any players and instruments that are available, so dust off your tuba and join the fun! Chad Bramletis a recording country music singer/songwriter who sings about his struggle and victories over homelessness, addiction, heartbreak, love, and despair. Chad has opened for country music acts such as Thomas Rhett, Chris Young, Randy Houser, Rodney Atkins, Craig Campbell, Trick Pony, and Lonestar. |
