Event Description:
Pullman Regional Hospital will be offering a 10 week series of classes on Mastering Aging starting in April. The hospital is one of 13 organizations in Washington recently awarded a National Council on Aging grant to deliver the Aging Mastering Program®. The newly developed course is designed for older adults to make and maintain small but impactful changes in their lives. The classes will explore navigating longer lives, physical activity, sleep, healthy eating and hydration, and financial fitness to name a few. Educational materials will be provided at each class and facilitated by trusted, local professionals. A check list of action steps and a system for tracking behaviors will also be provided.
