Michael Kostroff - Reading and Signing

We're pleased to host actor and author Michael Kostroff on Saturday, May 2 at 2pm. Michael will read from, discuss, and sign copies of his book, Letters from Backstage: The Adventures of a Touring Stage Actor. Light refreshments will be provided. Michael Kostroff is an accomplished professional actor, best known for his five seasons on HBO's highly acclaimed hit, The Wire. His most recent TV appearances have included roles on Louie, The Good Wife, Blacklist, Elementary, Deadbeat, Law & Order: SVU, and HBO's upcoming miniseries, Show Me a Hero. On stage, he's appeared in national tours of The Producers and Les Miserables, as well as in productions at some of the country's most highly respected regional theatres. As a writer, Michael has written everything from magazine articles to theatre reviews to live shows for Disneyland. Michael is the husband of Moscow's own Jenny Kostroff, who runs the 1912 Center for Heart of the Arts, Inc. Letters from Backstage, is a funny, behind-the-scenes chronicle of his time on the road with two Broadway tours in which he shares the fun, joy and madness of a life lived in hotels, airports and theatres, and the uniqueness of each stop along the way.
