Missoula Children?s Theatre ? ?Treasure Island? Auditions

Free auditions for the Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) production of "Treasure Island," presented by Festival Dance & Performing Arts, will be held at the Moscow High School Auditorium. Grades K-12 are welcome to audition- no experience is necessary. 50-60 students will be chosen to perform in "Treasure Island," from 3-7 p.m. Feb. 8 at the Moscow High School Auditorium. Rehearsals will be from 3:45-8:15 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Not all parts rehearse everyday. Lead characters begin rehearsing 6-8 p.m. Monday night. Dress rehearsal is Saturday morning. Ticket prices for the Saturday show are: adults $6, youth $4. Tickets for the Saturday show can be purchased at the door, so come early. Among the roles to be cast are Jim Hawkins, his six sisters, a rollicking Pirate Crew, Jim?s Ruffian Friends, seacoast Villagers and cuddly Gulls. Students grades K-12 are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary. Assistant Directors will also be cast to aid in rehearsals throughout the week and to take on essential backstage responsibilities.
