Event Description:
 The City of Moscow Tree Commission will be hosting the annual Arbor Day ceremony and tree planting.  The City’s 23rd annual Tree City USA Award will be acknowledged and presented by David Stephenson, Urban Interface and Planning Program Manager with the Idaho Department of Lands.  Mayor Bill Lambert will read the annual Arbor Day Proclamation, and 2nd graders from the Moscow Charter School will be in attendance and will share their Arbor Day excitement.
                                                                             
Members of the public are encouraged to attend the ceremony and help plant the Arbor Day “Dawn Redwood” tree.  After the planting, attendees will have the opportunity to take home a free tree seedling courtesy of the City of Moscow Tree Commission. The following seedlings will be available to choose from: Native Mountain Ash, Sugar Maple, and Canaan Fir.
