The Moscow Farmers Market takes place on Main Street and in Friendship Square in downtown Moscow. It is held each Saturday, May through October, from 8:00am to 1:00pm. Local musicians perform from 9:30am to 1:00pm.
The programming for this week's Farmer's Market is as follows:
Live Performances. The Moscow Farmers Market hosts nearly four dozen scheduled concerts in Friendship Square each year, and features many talented local entertainers. The featured entertainment this Saturday is:
(9:00 – 10:00 a.m.) Saticoy
(10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.) Gefilte Trout
City of Moscow Commissions. Citizen based City Commissions will be featured at the Market throughout the season to share information on any special programs. This week will feature the Pathways Commission.
Bell Brigade. Bell Brigade will provides an opportunity for local youth groups, clubs, and organizations to ring the opening and closing market bells. Groups performing this community service are eligible to host an information tent at the market the day they participate in the Bell Brigade. POP Club! The Power of Produce (POP) Club encourages children ages 4-12 to try local, seasonal fruits and vegetables through produce tastings and fun activities. All POP Club participants will receive a $5 POP Bucks voucher to purchase local fruits and vegetables from produce vendors. This month’s event will feature kale chips and kale salad as well as a market themed scavenger hunt. This event is co-sponsored by the Moscow Food Co-op.
Chess At the Market. Vandal Chess Club will have table games and a large set with 25" pieces ready for play. Test your skills or learn a new one.
The Moscow Farmers Market loves all furry companions, but only Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) service animals are permitted in the main thoroughfare with their owners. Emotional support animals are not covered by the ADA and are not permitted in the main thoroughfare with their owners. For health and safety reasons, we ask that all pets and non-ADA service animals limit their visit to the Market and if need be may utilize the pet-friendly sidewalks adjacent to Main Street and Fifth Street.
The Moscow Farmers Market is a nicotine-free event. No vaping, tobacco chewing, or traditional smoking is permitted.
