Event Description:
The Farmers Market is a popular Moscow tradition that was established in 1977. The Saturday morning event celebrates local farmers, artists, craftspeople and musicians by providing them with an opportunity to interact directly with the community and its visitors. Highlights include fresh produce, meat, delicious homemade baked goods, healthy nursery plants, beautiful flowers and quality handmade crafts.
This weeks events include:
Music: Live music at Friendship Square will be provided by Spectrum Dance Studio at 9:30 a.m. followed by Shiloh at 11:00 a.m.
Special Events: The Market will feature a kids soy yogurt parfait cooking demonstration at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 11:30 a.m. by the City Tent (next to the clock in Friendship Square). Idaho at Play! featuring a dance class by Spectrum Dance Studio; a bike fix hosted by the Palouse Bicycle Collective; hula hooping; jump rope; and more will be from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. by the fountain in Friendship Square. Also, don’t miss Chess at the Market with the University of Idaho Chess Club from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on 5th Street. Enjoy the game while playing with giant 25” pieces!
Vendor of the Week: Humble Burger from Moscow, ID. Product highlights include: hamburgers, fries, potato chips, and varieties of sparkling lemonade made in-house. Humble Burger has been a vendor in the Moscow Farmers Market for two years.
Shop the Market: Area families can use EBT or SNAP benefits. Visit the Shop the Market booth at the City Tent, by the clock in Friendship Square, to receive “Market Money” which vendors will accept for approved purchases.
Please remember that no animals, except for ADA service dogs, are allowed at the Moscow Farmers Market.
