Event Description:
The Farmers Market is a popular Moscow tradition that was established in 1977. The Saturday morning event celebrates local farmers, artists, craftspeople and musicians by providing them with an opportunity to interact directly with the community and its visitors. Highlights include fresh produce, meat, delicious homemade baked goods, healthy nursery plants, beautiful flowers and quality handmade crafts. The market is located downtown on Main Street and in Friendship Square next to the Moscow Hotel. It is held each Saturday, May through October.

Activities include: 

Music: Live music at Friendship Square will be provided by Regional Theatre of the Palouse PERFORMING ARTS SCHOOL at 9:30 a.m. followed by Voodoo City Radio at 11:00 a.m.
 
Special Events: The Market will feature a kid’s fruit and vegetable tasting from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. by the fountain in Friendship Square. Also, don’t miss the Palouse Sustainability Fair from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on 5th Street. The Fair will feature organizations that represent sustainability pillars of water, food, waste, energy, ecology, and health. Raffles, demonstrations, and more will be taking place during the event.
 
Vendor of the Week: Camas Prairie Winery from Bovill, ID. Product highlights include: varieties of beer and wine. Camas Prairie Winery has been a vendor in the Moscow Farmers Market for two years.
 
Shop the Market: Area families can use EBT or SNAP benefits. Visit the Shop the Market booth at the City Tent, by the clock in Friendship Square, to receive “Market Money” which vendors will accept for approved purchases.
