Event Description:
The Farmers Market is a popular Moscow tradition that was established in 1977. The Saturday morning event celebrates local farmers, artists, craftspeople and musicians by providing them with an opportunity to interact directly with the community and its visitors. Highlights include fresh produce, meat, delicious homemade baked goods, healthy nursery plants, beautiful flowers and quality handmade crafts. The market is located downtown on Main Street and in Friendship Square next to the Moscow Hotel. It is held each Saturday, May through October.

Join us Saturday, July 23rd for the Moscow Farmers Market on Main Street and in Friendship Square in Downtown Moscow! The Market runs from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. May through October and features live music, fresh local produce, delicious homemade baked goods, specialty food items, healthy nursery plants, beautiful flowers, and quality handmade crafts.
 
Music: Live music at Friendship Square will be provided by Festival Dance & Performing Arts at 9:30 a.m. followed by Arvid Lundin & Deep Roots at 11:00 a.m.
 
Special Events: The Market will feature Chess at the Market with the University of Idaho Chess Club from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on 5th Street. Enjoy the game while playing with giant 25” pieces! Waldo has come to the Moscow Farmers Market! Start your hunt by picking up your passport at the City Tent (next to the clock in Friendship Square). Waldo will be hiding somewhere at the Moscow Farmers Market on Saturday, July 23. Remember to deliver completed passports to Book People of Moscow by 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27!
 
Vendor of the Week: Twin Creeks Farm from Princeton, ID. Product highlights include: A2/A2 raw milk, free range farm eggs, and hand crafted fresh cheese in many varieties. Twin Creeks Farm has been a vendor in the Moscow Farmers Market for two years.
 
Shop the Market: Area families can use EBT or SNAP benefits. Visit the Shop the Market booth at the City Tent, by the clock in Friendship Square, to receive “Market Money” which vendors will accept for approved purchases.
 
WIC and SFMNP: The Moscow Farmers Market is now accepting WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) and SFMNP (Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program) checks.
 
Please remember that no animals, except for ADA service dogs, are allowed at the Moscow Farmers Market.
