Event Description:
The Farmers Market is a popular Moscow tradition that was established in 1977. The Saturday morning event celebrates local farmers, artists, craftspeople and musicians by providing them with an opportunity to interact directly with the community and its visitors. Highlights include fresh produce, meat, delicious homemade baked goods, healthy nursery plants, beautiful flowers and quality handmade crafts. The market is located downtown on Main Street and in Friendship Square next to the Moscow Hotel. It is held each Saturday, May through October.

Join us Saturday, July 30th for the Moscow Farmers Market on Main Street and in Friendship Square in Downtown Moscow! The Market runs from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. May through October and features live music, fresh local produce, delicious homemade baked goods, specialty food items, healthy nursery plants, beautiful flowers, and quality handmade crafts.
 
Music: Live music at Friendship Square will be provided by National Dance Day with Miss Moscow USA! at 9:30 a.m. followed by The Snake River Six at 11:00 a.m.
 
Special Events: The Market will feature the Pathways Commission from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. by the City Tent (next to the clock in Friendship Square). The Pulse with Chefs at the Market cooking demonstration from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. by the City Tent (next to the clock in Friendship Square) featuring Max Mohan from Tillis-Kitchen. As part of the “International Year of the Pulse” celebration, the Market will host a chef cooking demonstration the last Saturday of the month featuring a recipe made with pulses! Palouse Paws from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. by the fountain in Friendship Square. Don’t miss Chess at the Market with the University of Idaho Chess Club from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Enjoy the game while playing with giant 25” pieces!
 
Vendor of the Week: Omache Farm from Pullman, WA. Product highlights include: eggs, lamb, pork, vegetables, and much more. Omache Farm has been a vendor in the Moscow Farmers Market for three years.
Shop the Market: Area families can use EBT or SNAP benefits. Visit the Shop the Market booth at the City Tent, by the clock in Friendship Square, to receive “Market Money” which vendors will accept for approved purchases.
 
WIC and SFMNP: The Moscow Farmers Market is now accepting WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) and SFMNP (Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program) checks.
 
 
 
Please remember that no animals, except for ADA service dogs, are allowed at the Moscow Farmers Market.
