As a number of leading scientists have produced evidence suggesting the amount of potable water is diminishing at an alarming rate, now is the time to learn more and act fast. Last Call at the Oasis exposes flaws in the current water system, shows communities already struggling with the detrimental impacts and highlights leaders looking for innovative solutions related to water. Issues such as irresponsible management allow massive amounts of water to go to waste, and lenient regulation of corporations has led to pollution that causes additional and unexpected problems. Featuring a combination of expert interviews (including Erin Brockovich), comedy sketches, and cleverly edited montages, Last Call at the Oasis offers an entertaining way to learn more about the dangers we face related to water supply as well as the people working toward resolving and solving some of the problems focused on in the film.
