Name: Northwest Wildlife Photo Exhibit at the Dahmen Barn March 5 - 26
Date: March 11, 2017
Event Description:
Potlatch, Idaho photographer Charlie Wheeler exhibits wildlife photography the month of March at Artisans at the Dahmen Barn.  The exhibit will include northwest birds and mammals printed on canvas, metal and paper.  The exhibit runs from March 5 through 26 with the opening reception March 5th, 1pm-3pm.

Wheeler calls himself an amateur photographer, but when he switched from film to digital 5 years ago he decided to get serious about his photography.  Most of the bird photos are local but he travels a bit for the mammal images.  Living in the Northwest gives him plenty opportunity for great photos of the wildlife in our area.  He waits patiently for the shot using his photographic skills to capture artistic interpretation that can be appreciated by all.  Charlie Wheeler won First Place in the Bird and Mammal division in the 2016 Palouse Chapter of the National Audubon Society photo contest.
