NSAC Christmas Concert

On Thursday, December 8th at 7pm at the University of Idaho Administration Auditorium the New Saint Andrews College Concert Choir and Collegium Musicum will present their annual Christmas Concert.

This year’s theme is The Great O Antiphons; seven historic chants on various names of Christ as prophesied in the book of Isaiah. The familiar carol O Come, O Come, Emmanuel is based upon these texts. The choirs will sing music by Bach, Charpentier, Pärt, various modern composers, and more. Of particular note, the choir will be performing Brahms’ motet O Heiland, reiss die Himmel auf.
